ARECO exists for the part of travel between “I booked it” and “I’m at the gate.” That is where a terminal change, a slow security line, or a carry-on that is half an inch too wide can turn into a very expensive problem.
We started with Chicago O’Hare because it is a place where small details matter. We give you the useful answer early, explain the catch, and leave you with a plan you can actually follow.
What we care about
- Specifics over filler. Terminal names, walking constraints, outside bag dimensions, and airline cutoffs are more useful than generic “travel smarter” advice.
- The downside belongs near the recommendation. If a lounge is far from your gate or a pillow runs hot, you should not have to hunt for that detail.
- No imaginary testing. We say when a product piece is based on published specifications and outside reporting rather than hands-on use.
- Dates matter. Every guide shows when it was updated, and live details should still be checked with the airport, airline, agency, or manufacturer.
Where the information comes from
For rules, hours, locations, and product specifications, we start with the organization responsible for them: the airport, TSA, airline, lounge operator, or manufacturer. Independent reviews help with context and real-world experience. Owner discussions can reveal a recurring annoyance, but one person’s complaint is not treated as a universal result.
Sources appear at the end of each article so you can open them yourself.
How AI is used
AI tools help with research organization, early drafts, site code, and some illustrations. They are not treated as evidence, and they do not get the final word on a fact or recommendation. Illustrations are labeled when they do not show the exact product or a live airport scene.
Money and recommendations
ARECO launched without paid rankings, sponsored picks, or affiliate links. If that changes, the relationship will be disclosed where it matters. Payment will not buy a favorable verdict or hide a drawback.
