This privacy notice explains what ARECO receives when someone visits areco.org or sends an email. It was last updated July 16, 2026.
Information you send
If you email ARECO, the message may include your address, name, and any details you choose to share. That information is used to answer the message, review a correction, or address a site problem. Do not send passport numbers, payment details, medical records, or other sensitive personal data.
Basic server records
A web host may record an internet address, browser type, requested page, referring page, and request time for security, reliability, and aggregate traffic analysis. ARECO does not need those records to identify an ordinary reader.
Cookies and advertising
The launch version of ARECO does not set its own advertising, account, or personalization cookies. It has no user accounts, comments, checkout, or newsletter form. The AMP runtime is delivered by the AMP Project’s content-delivery network so AMP pages can render.
If analytics, advertising, affiliate measurement, or embedded third-party media are added later, this notice will be updated and any consent controls required by law will be added before those tools run.
External links
Articles link to airports, government agencies, airlines, product makers, and news publishers. Their privacy practices apply after you leave ARECO. A link is not an endorsement of every policy or statement on that site.
Retention and sharing
Email may be kept long enough to resolve the request, maintain a correction record, prevent abuse, or meet a legal duty. ARECO does not sell contact details. Information may be shared with service providers that run the site or email, or when law requires it.
Your request
To ask about a message you sent or request deletion where applicable, email webmaster@areco.org. Identity may need to be confirmed before a request affecting personal data is completed.
